Look Who’s Talking: Language and Literacy Development of Infants and Toddlers

·         How children acquire language

·         Stages of language development

·         How to choose books for young children

·         How parents and caregivers can encourage language and learning

 

The workshops will be held at the Indiana Area Head Start Center, 155 North Clymer Avenue, Indiana, PA  15701.  Registration starts at 4:45 p.m. and sessions will start at 5:00 p.m. and last for 1½ hours.  Free child care and refreshments will be available.  Registration is limited to the first 15 parents.
