Annual Fund

The Annual Fund is a key element of the accessAbilities Foundation’s efforts to provide resources for accessAbilities programs and services. It is an important opportunity for friends and families to express continuing, loyal support for accessAbilities’ vision of empowering people with unique abilities to live life to its fullest.  Annual Fund contributions help by providing for the immediate and ongoing needs of accessAbilities including enhancing the quality of programs and services, providing for equipment and technology, and responding to growing programmatic needs that provide added value to individuals with disabilities.

Your gift to the accessAbilities Foundation Annual Fund can be made to honor or memorialize a friend or loved one.

You may designate your gift to:

  • Support a program or service
  • Support a facilities or technology need
  • Be used where the accessAbilities Foundation has the greatest need (unrestricted gifts for advancing technology, facilities and/or program enhancement)

Why should I give to the Annual Fund?

Despite the myriad of funding streams available that help pay for the supports and services accessAbilities consumers utilize, the billable costs simply do not keep pace with the expense of providing these critical services.  That is why the accessAbilities Foundation’s efforts to fund raise are so important.

As a large provider of non-medical home and community based personal assistance services for adults with physical and mental disabilities throughout three counties in Western Pennsylvania, it is important for accessAbilities to be poised to not only deal with increasing demands for services, but state and local budget cuts as well.  Without proper funding consumers may be left without basic human care.

It is a goal of the accessAbilities Foundation to meet these vital needs no matter what the economic forecast, but we can only do it with the help of friends like you.
