Hurd has been with accessAbilities since 1989 and has served as executive director since 1992.
Under her leadership, the agency's consumer-focused approach to providing services for people with disabilities that empower the opportunity of independent living has made accessAbilities the premier service provider in Armstrong, Indiana and Westmoreland counties.
During her tenure, the scope of services has grown dramatically and the agency's budget has grown by an average of $1 million in each of the past six years.
She holds a bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation from Penn State University. |
