At accessAbilities Foundation,
it’s about possibilities …not disabilities.
The accessAbilities Foundation supports the programs and services of our sister agencies, accessAbilities, Inc. and All Abilities, Inc.
Since its’ beginnings in 1954, the Foundation has hosted fundraisers, special events, symposiums and more. Each gathering benefits the programs and services that our family members, friends, and neighbors need and, in some cases, require to stay in their homes. Both accessAbilities, Inc. and All Abilities, Inc. focus on individuals’ possibilities – not disabilities.
Early Intervention Services provides children with the support and therapies that they need to create a solid foundation for early learning. Early Intervention Services are provided by a team of licensed, highly skilled professionals who work with children under the age of three. By identifying and strengthening their basic skills at an early age, children are given the best opportunity for a successful future. Early Intervention Services are available free of charge to any child with a developmental delay, or who is at risk of a developmental delay.
Personal Assistance Services offers a host of home- and community-based programs to fit an individual's needs. These services are designed to make it possible for adults with disabilities to live in their homes with minimal to moderate assistance and to stay connected to their communities by offering assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, food preparation, eating and non-medical health care.
All Abilities, Inc.
Service Coordination assists adults with disabilities in gaining access to community services and resources they need to achieve greater independence and enhanced quality of life. Services that can be coordinated include personal assistance services (as described above); home modifications, and access to skilled care and specialized therapies.
